I don't believe we can, our Premier League status simply does not reflect how we are run off it when it comes to such things as training facilities, the Academy and an identity, unless you are going to give someone an open cheque book to buy success, I am pretty certain the better coaches you allude to will look for a club with a better infrastructure than we have, Pardew is exactly the type of manager we will attract.

If we're gonna have a thread for every manager we'd prefer than Sam then we're gonna have a good few hundred new threads.
Pardew is a better manager than Sam no doubt about it, but just being better than Sam shouldn't be enough to get a mention let alone be a serious contender
